Quick Study Introduction to Leveraging Blackdove for Artists

1. Create an Artist account at https://app.blackdove.com making sure to check the Artist box at the bottom of the form. Select the profile icon in the top right to open the registration form. See the video here: Create a Blackdove Artist Account

2. Create Collections prior to uploading. This way when you upload you can automatically add them to collections saving you a step. We recommend creating collections for orientation (Landscape, Portrait , Square) or series, years, etc. Select the pencil icon to extend the options.

3. Open the Left Navigation Menu (activated with the burger menu top left) and select Uploads to begin adding artwork to your profile. Drag and drop or select the main open area to open a dialogue box to select artwork from your local file system. See video here: Uplaod Artwork

4. After uploading and getting approved as an artist, you will then Monetize the artwork. Currently today only Licensing works, ignore the NFT minting. Make sure to make your artwork Public, and select a licensing price that works for you. Average prices are $20, Remember that this is unlimited sales, like PPV movies. The goal here is to create unlimited and forever income for you.

5. Make sure to setup your Stripe account to get paid.
