Brightsign Setup Process via Blackdove
For setup of Brightsign to be managed by Blackdove
Blackdove recommends the Brightsign XT1145 with SSD option. SD card is acceptable, but has the risk of failure earlier than the SSD.
Purchasing of the XT1145 can be via Blackdove or directly through Brightsign distribution, which is Almo/ Exertis. You may email Andrea Kong (akong@exertisalmo.com) directly and reference Blackdove. Upon receipt of the XT1145 please open a support ticket (support@blackdove.com) specifying: 1. Email address for account to be setup 2. Serial number of Brightsign Media player 3. Your contact information 4. Required turn-up date/time 5. Please specify an accounting email for your AV firm to receive cc on billing. Activation Process: 1. Blackdove will add the Brightsign player to our BSN.Cloud account and apply the app profile. 2. When the player is connected to the internet (ETHERNET ) it will automatically be detected and install the Blackdove app. 3. A QR code for pairing to the Blackdove platform will be presented. If requested, we can autopair this to the email provided, please specify. 4.
