Samsung Zero Touch Configuration

Setup time 15 minutes. In this setup guide we will guide you through each step to getting your new canvas online with Blackdove software.

Note: Before beginning, exit any automatically running app by pressing the [Exit] button on your remote.


Update Your Screen

Before configuring Zero Touch, ensure your display is running the latest firmware.

Press the Settings button (gear icon) on your remote.

Select Support, then Software Update.

Enter the PIN if prompted — the default PIN is 000000.

Install any available updates. The screen will reboot automatically if an update is applied.

Note: After the reboot, press [Exit] again if an app launches automatically before proceeding.


Send Your Device Information to Blackdove

If you purchased your display from Blackdove, your serial number may have already been entered. Feel free to skip this step if so.

Blackdove will need your display's serial number to register it in our management system. Follow the steps below to locate and share this information.

Press the Settings button (gear icon) on your remote.

Select Support, then Contact Samsung.

Take a photo of this screen.

Select the QR Code button on screen.

Take a photo of the QR Code screen. It should look like this:

Send both photos to support@blackdove.com or your Blackdove technician (if you are already in contact with one)


Complete the Zero Touch Configuration

Once the display has restarted, follow the setup sequence:

Press the Settings button (gear icon) on your remote. Navigate to System.

Select Zero Touch Configuration

Enter the PIN if prompted — the default PIN is 000000.

Set up a network connection to the internet

Review and agree to the smart signage privacy notice by hitting Ok

Wait for confirmation of smart signage being ready to use

When the process is complete, you will see a pairing screen displaying a QR code.


Pair Your Display

Option 1: Self-Pair

Open the Blackdove app on your phone, go to Settings > Displays > Add Display, and scan the QR code on screen.

Option 2: Technician Pair

Send a photo of the pairing screen to support@blackdove.com or your Blackdove technician along with the email address associated with your Blackdove account, and they will complete the pairing for you
